Style | 08:15AM Nov 06, 2007

I have really been digging our surf shoot.  I feel like I got so much stuff that I want to share with you all that I figured the only way to do it without dragging this out for a week or more would be by doing a photo essay sort of post.  Not to say that I won't be posting more surf in the next few days, because I defenitly will.

Back to the subject, style.  How do you define your style?  I'm not sure that I have one just yet.  I think part of the reason is because I get so caught up in the technical aspects of creating a "photograph" that I do just that and often all I get is a well exposed photograph that is more dull than the paint peeling off your ceiling.

I do find that when I am shooting something I love, or care about, I get to thinking about trying to share that love with you, the viewer.  Shooting these past two days I  have found that for the first time in months I was enjoying photography; shooting something I love and being arround my favorite element was magical.  Maybe that is all it boils down to, shooting something you are connected to.
